After a one-year sabbatical, The Walk Show is back! Our first online broadcast features my interaction with author/speaker, Dr. Steve Crosby, who today discusses with me how our churches have not only paralyzed the parishioners in the pews, but even the pastors are being chewed up and spit out by the monster they have been feeding for so long. Incisive, yet compassionate to parishioner and pastor alike, Dr. Crosby describes the artificial heart-lung machinery being presently employed to keep the American local church looking animated, while pointing the way to a wonderful, resurrected expression of the American church. In other words, Steve calls American Christians away from the “recruit, corral, and fleece” mentality of recent church leadership to the new “release, coach, and free” paradigm.
